About the Session

This Breathwork session is an immersive journey into the relationship between breath, body, energy, awareness and consciousness.

This is not simply a breathing technique. It is an embodied practice designed to help you move beyond the thinking mind and into a deeper relationship with yourself.

We begin by creating the foundations for the journey through chakra meditation, conscious movement and drum rhythm. The body is awakened, the energy begins to move and the mind gradually becomes quieter.

From there, we enter the breathwork.

Using powerful conscious breathing, periods of breath retention and traditional bandha practices, including Mula Bandha (root lock) and Jalandhara Bandha (throat/chin lock), we work with the breath and body in a more intentional and structured way.

The breath becomes our vehicle.

The holds create moments of stillness and intensity. The bandhas bring awareness into the body and help you explore the relationship between breath, pressure, attention and energetic sensation.

You may experience waves of emotion, physical sensations, energetic movement, deep stillness, expanded awareness or moments of profound clarity.

Nothing needs to be forced.

The invitation is to become deeply present with whatever arises.

This is a journey of awakening, embodiment and remembering.

Please note: You may experience emotional and physical releases from the body.

Feeling Safe

Collective Healing

Our group Breathwork sessions are held as a safe, shared space where you can arrive exactly as you are, no pressure, no judgement, just space to breathe and be. There’s something super powerful about being in a room with others on the same journey, a quiet sense that you’re not alone in what you carry, each person held within a collective intention to soften, release and reconnect. Through conscious connected breathing, music and gentle guidance, you’re invited to turn inward and meet yourself with honesty and compassion, nothing is forced, everything is at your own pace. This is a space where self expression is welcomed, where you can let go of self criticism and allow whatever needs to move, to move. The circle holds you, the breath guides you, and what unfolds often stays with you long after you leave, creating a deeper sense of connection, both within yourself and with others.

And breathe...

What does a Tantric Breathwork Session Look like?

The Tantric Style Breathwork practice is a progressive journey through the body, breath and energetic awareness, moving through Grounding, Activation, Exploration and Integration.

We always begin with a grounding phase to establish presence, connect with the body and set an intention for the journey.

The Activation phase Kapalabhati and Visualisation to let the body know something intentional is happening.

The Exploration phase, lasting approximately 40 minutes, takes place primarily in a seated or supine position and uses controlled 4/4 connected breathing combined with multiple intentional breath holds. During selected holds, we introduce traditional bandha practices, including Mula Bandha (root lock) and Jalandhara Bandha (throat/chin lock). These practices bring greater awareness to the body, breath, stillness and internal energetic experience.

The breathwork moves through a series of waves of breathing, building, holding, releasing and returning to the breath, allowing participants to explore increasingly deeper states of physical, emotional and energetic awareness.

Finally, we enter a 10-minute Integration phase, allowing the body and mind to rest, process and assimilate the experience before gently returning to the room and the present moment.

Embodiment

Further Understanding

Tantric Breathwork works with the relationship between the breath, body, nervous system and energetic awareness. By consciously changing the rhythm and depth of the breath within a supported setting, we can create a shift in our physical and internal experience.

The practice combines controlled 4/4 connected breathing with movement, rhythm, breath holds and traditional bandha practices, including Mula Bandha and Jalandhara Bandha. These periods of breathing and stillness can bring greater awareness to the body, emotions, sensations and deeper layers of experience.

As the analytical mind softens, attention can move away from thinking and towards feeling, sensing and experiencing.

The intention isn't to force anything or achieve a particular state. It is to create the space to become more present, explore your inner experience and reconnect with yourself through the breath and body.

Nourishment for Mind, Body, Spirit

How this method can support you

There are times in life when you realise you are functioning, but not fully feeling. You may feel disconnected from your body, caught in your head, carrying tension, or moving through life without really being present in yourself. You may have become accustomed to holding things in, staying busy, staying controlled or simply getting on with it.

Tantric Breathwork offers an opportunity to slow down and turn your attention inward. Through chakra meditation, embodied movement, rhythm, conscious breathing, breath retention and bandha practices, you are invited to explore your body and your internal experience in a deeper way. A session can be powerful when you feel something is ready to shift, when you want to reconnect with your body, or when you are curious about exploring consciousness through breath and embodied awareness. You don't need to arrive with a problem to solve, you simply need a willingness to be present, to feel and to explore.

This practice can support you with:

  • Reconnecting with your body and physical awareness
  • Developing greater awareness of breath, sensation and energy
  • Releasing physical tension and habitual patterns of holding
  • Exploring emotions through embodied awareness
  • Deepening your connection with yourself
  • Developing greater presence and internal awareness
  • Exploring the relationship between breath, stillness and sensation
  • Working with intention, focus and energetic awareness
  • Creating space for reflection, insight and personal exploration
  • Exploring altered states of consciousness through breathwork

It is not about fixing you, It is not about forcing an experience or trying to become someone else, It is about creating the conditions to slow down, feel more deeply, listen inwardly and explore what is already present within you. The breath opens the door, the body shows you what is there, and you decide how deeply you want to walk through it.

This was a tough session for me, as I noticed lots of inner barriers throughout the session, but once I let myself go a bit, I felt an incredible sense of energy, that gradually moved out of my body and continued to be processed throughout my day and beyond. It's taken me a couple of weeks to reflect on what I have experienced but I can see how the stuckness and stagnancy I was experiencing prior to the breathwork has now shifted and I am feeling more purposeful and optimistic. The session was structured, and managed really well by Shane, with his care and support obvious throughout and afterwards. This can be an intense experience but well worth it, if you're up for some deep inner explorations and energy shifts!

This was an incredible experience. Shane had already created and set the space before I arrived putting thought and care into everything. I immediately felt at ease and supported which is essential for this kind of inner work. Before the breathwork started Shane outlined exactly the process and we introduced some movement and set intentions for the session so I felt fully prepared before the breathwork began. The breathwork itself was not easy or passive it was fully engaged and enhanced by music and Shanes guidance. I felt seen, heard, held - I wont go too much into my personal experience because it would be different for everyone but personally I felt a huge release of emotion and immense sense of gratitude. Thank you thank you thank you I cannot wait to come again.

I had been to breathwork sessions before but not on this level. Shane is an amazing space holder and is fantastic at explaining everything clearly and making you feel comfortable and safe. The breathwork was really tailored to me and my needs and with the blending of the music and sound, I was able to really delve deep into what needed to be released. I'm not going to sugarcoat it, it's tough journey but I have been able to process things that years of therapy couldn't. I'm eternally grateful for the work Shane does and will be booking in regularly to keep finding those little forgotten prices of myself.

I went into this holosomatic breathwork session feeling tired and honestly not that open to it. I’ve experienced a few breathwork sessions before and never really felt much shift, so my expectations were quite low. But this was completely different. From the start, Shane created a space that felt safe, and grounded. I experienced a level of clarity and release that I hadn’t accessed before. It felt like something really shifted within me and I could really let go. Since that day, I can genuinely say I’ve felt different. My mind feels clearer, calmer, and more spacious. It’s like a weight I didn’t fully realise I was carrying has lifted. I would wholeheartedly recommend Shane and this experience to anyone, whether you’re new to breathwork or have tried it before.
