About the Event

The evening starts with cacao and opening the space with intentions and community introductions we then flow in to the Panta Rhei Sound Journey, a fully immersive, acoustic experience. Participants are invited to lie down, receive and journey inward as rhythm, voice and vibration move through the space, supporting rest, integration and deep listening.

Following the sound journey we will take a break for integration where cacao, herbal teas and other snacks and refreshments are available some by donation and some for sale.

From here, the evening flows into a Panta Rhei Jam an open, communal sound space where creativity becomes shared.

Bring your instrument, your voice, or simply your curiosity. Beginners are warmly welcomed. This is not about performance, but participation, listening and collective expression.

Come for one part, or stay and flow through the whole experience.

Everything flows.

Drop into your essence

Feeling safe.....

Our circles are designed to be a sanctuary of safety, where self-love and self-expression are encouraged and honoured. In this space, everyone is free from judgement and supported by a shared intention to heal and connect. Through the soothing energies of sound and the gentle guidance of our practices, participants are invited to turn inward, embracing and honouring their own emotions, needs, and stories. This safe container fosters vulnerability and authenticity, encouraging you to let go of self-criticism and nurture compassion for yourself. Whether through quiet reflection or shared experiences, each person is invited to express themselves freely, creating a sense of belonging, inner peace, and acceptance that lingers long after the circle closes.

Immersive sound collective

Introducing Panta Rhei

Panta Rhei is an evolving sound collective rooted in rhythm, resonance and deep listening. What began over five years ago as intimate sound explorations between core members, using timpani, gongs and acoustic instrumentation in small, held spaces, has gradually grown and gathered depth.

Over the past year, Panta Rhei has stepped into a wider expression, sharing its sound in larger communal spaces including festival settings and venues such as Beamish Halls and Lindisfarne Festival. This expansion has marked a natural turning point, a recognition that the sound carries something meaningful to be shared more widely. Now moving into galleries, community spaces and immersive environments, Panta Rhei invites people into deep inner journeys through sound and vibration, spaces to explore presence, depth and connection within themselves, held by rhythm and resonance.

Everything flows

The name Panta Rhei draws from the ancient understanding of Panta Rhei, everything flows. Sound, vibration and energy are never static; they move in continuous cycles, looping and evolving moment by moment. This philosophy lives at the centre of Panta Rhei’s work, where music is allowed to emerge naturally rather than being tightly directed or controlled.

The soundscape is built on a foundation of timpani drums and gongs, layered with voice, acoustic instruments and ambient textures. Like a Möbius loop, the music has no clear beginning or end, it unfolds, dissolves and reforms, shaped by the space, the people present and the collective energy in the room.

Each gathering is unique, reflecting the constant motion and renewal of sound itself.

The Collective

Claire Cope

Claire is a Reiki ,Gong Master Teacher and facilitator working at the intersection of vibration, breath and elemental energy. Through The Flame Within, her work spans breathwork facilitation, Kundalini activation, firewalking instruction and close ceremonial work with fire — including guiding people to safely hold the flames themselves. Alongside this, Claire is deeply rooted in water, sound and frequency as cleansing, transformative forces.

As a teacher of gongs with a growing community of students, she brings both technical depth and intuitive presence to Panta Rhei, holding the energetic field while weaving rhythm, resonance and breath into immersive inner journeys.

Mark Lloyd

Mark is a drummer, sound healer and producer with over two decades of experience working with rhythm and vibration. Best known as the drummer for long-standing band Neeb, Mark’s relationship with percussion is instinctive, grounded and expansive. He is also the founder of Mobius Music, a recording studio and creative hub rooted in sonic exploration.

Within Panta Rhei, Mark anchors the sound through timpani and percussion, shaping the rhythmic backbone of the collective while working with frequency and resonance as tools for healing and deep listening.

Bri Batey

An ex-royal engineer and core member of Woven Project, Bri is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist whose presence brings both precision and sensitivity to the sound. A gifted guitarist with a powerful, emotive voice, Bri has an intuitive ability to move between instruments with ease.

When fully in his zone, his playing draws the room into stillness — the kind where you can hear a pin drop. His contributions add melody, atmosphere and emotional depth, allowing the sound to soften, expand and breathe.

Cath Watson

Cath is a sound healer, body worker and medicine bringer whose presence grounds and integrates the collective’s work. Often described as the earth angel of Panta Rhei, Cath has been instrumental over the past year in supporting energetic clearing and embodiment through sound.

Working with shakers and a range of healing instruments, she brings a gentle yet powerful grounding force — helping participants land, integrate and feel held as the sound moves through and settles within the body.

Unity

We gather as one...

Contraindications

Important: Please Read

While sound healing is a deeply relaxing and beneficial practice, there are some important contraindications to keep in mind to ensure a safe experience for everyone. People who are in the first trimester of pregnancy, have a history of seizures, or use a pacemaker or other metal implants should consult with a healthcare provider before participating. The powerful vibrations from gongs and other instruments can sometimes create intense resonance within the body, which may not be suitable for these individuals. For pregnant participants beyond the first trimester, sound healing can often be enjoyed safely, but it's best to keep a slight distance from the strongest vibrations, like those from gongs. Additionally, if you have any sensitivity to sound or are prone to anxiety, let the facilitator know so adjustments can be made to ensure a comfortable experience. At our event, your well-being is our top priority, and we're here to help make this journey as safe and enjoyable as possible.

More information on request. If you have asthma, please have your inhaler beside you.

Cacao will be served in the ceremony as part of your ticket, there will also be other refreshments on sale such as cacao juice, kombucha and can-o-water.

Contraindications For Cacao

Although cacao is safe for most of us, some people should take extra precautions for themselves before eating or drinking cacao.

Cacao is contraindicated with antidepressants including some SSRIs and all MORI antidepressants. If you are on high doses, I would not advise drinking a cacao. If you are on smaller doses smaller amounts of cacao are usually ok, but as always consult your doctor. In the weeks leading to the ceremony, you may want to test doses. Start with 5-10g in 250ml of water and see how that is for you. Please note cacao raises serotonin levels significantly.

For people with increased anxiety, a history of seizures, diabetes and heart conditions please consult your doctor before ingesting cacao.

More information on request. If you have asthma, please have your inhaler beside you.

Please note that by purchasing a ticket you agree that The Jasper Cacao Project Ltd and Shane Cooke are not liable for any injury or harm that you may incur at this practice/class & you fully understand the contraindications of ingesting Cacao. You agree to take full responsibility of yourself, your health, your well-being and all of your belongings whilst at the ceremony.
