Introducing Antarma
Growing up in London, Antarma’s influences and collaborations are truly multicultural – from Ancient Sanskrit Mantras of the Sanatan Dharma Indian Tradition to Amazonian, Sufi and African Brazilian Sacred Traditions. He wove these teachings into his skills as a rapper and percussionist, first making his name busking on the streets of London, captivating hundreds with just drum and voice.
He now brings this same vibrancy into powerful events that fuse meditation, chanting, song and dance into fully interactive journeys of deep connection and ecstatic joy. Whether playing solo for thousands at festivals or intimate groups at retreats, he guides transformational, life-affirming experiences through music, celebration, poetry and mantra practice.
His upbeat djembe drumming unites crowds, often joined by his own dancing amongst them. Alongside this, his deeply relaxing mantras, guided meditations and adapted English mantra translations – with the blessing of his Guru Mata Vijnanamba Paramahamsa Parivrajika – make ancient verses feel alive and relevant today.
Antarma’s debut singles Aum Shakti Aum and Just to Live continue to move listeners deeply, while his most recent release, Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha (2025), honours the remover of obstacles. He has shared globally at live concerts, ceremonies and retreats across Europe, Asia and beyond, and has appeared at festivals including Udaya Live (Bulgaria), Geneva International Yoga Festival, Mind Body Spirit (London), LoveJam and Medicine Festival.
All of Antarma’s music, mantras and practices are shared with the intention of bringing Peace, Joy, Celebration and Love for all hearts, nature and all beings.
